These terms govern your use of the Easy iOS app and this website. By using Easy you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Easy is not medical advice. It gives general nutrition information and estimates. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, take medication, or have a history of disordered eating.

Nutrition estimates are estimates

Calorie and macro figures produced from a photo, a barcode, a menu or a description are approximations. They depend on portion size, ingredients and preparation that the app cannot see, and they will sometimes be wrong. Use them as a guide, not as a measurement. You are responsible for decisions you make based on them.

Your account

You must be at least 13 to use Easy. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you sign in with Apple, Google or email, keep that sign-in method secure.

Subscriptions and billing

Easy offers an auto-renewing subscription. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us.

Groups and content you post

Groups let you share progress with other people. When you post in a group you keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to display it to the other members of that group so the feature works.

You agree not to post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, illegal, or that promotes self-harm or disordered eating; not to impersonate anyone; and not to post other people's personal information.

You can block members and report content from within the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. We may do so without notice where the content is seriously harmful.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or scrape the app, interfere with its operation, or use it to build a competing product.

Availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Termination

You may stop using Easy at any time and delete your data from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Easy is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded — in Australia, that includes the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where significant, notified in the app. Continuing to use Easy after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
